Kellogg’s has just launched an exciting new recipe book - which has been specially developed for use by caterers in both primary and secondary schools.
The Kellogg’s wholesome recipe book provides a comprehensive nutritional breakdown for every meal, in line with the School Food Trust (SFT) guidelines, as well as healthy serving suggestions and practical tips.
The recipe book is divided into three sub-sections; main meals, desserts and specials – the exclusive recipes include chilli con carne – made with All-Bran, corn-crisped salmon croquettes containing Kellogg’s Cornflakes, and tangy ‘Rice Krispie’ meatballs. Appetising vegetarian options are also included, such as cauliflower bake with an All-Bran topping or potato and onion casserole with a crispy Special K coating.
For dessert, try a healthy All-Bran fruit loaf, coconut macaroons made with Rice Krispies or a golden carrot cake made using All-Bran Sultana Bran.
